Welcome to SYR Talents, a freelance services marketplace connecting skilled professionals with clients around the world. By accessing or using our platform, you agree to be bound by the following terms and conditions.
1. Acceptance of Terms
By registering for an account or using the platform, you confirm that you are at least 18 years old and have the legal capacity to enter into a binding agreement. These Terms apply to all users (buyers, freelancers, and visitors).
2. Services Provided
SYR Talents is a digital platform that enables users to offer and purchase freelance services. We do not directly offer services nor are we party to any service contract between users. Our role is solely that of a facilitator.
3. User Accounts
To use the platform, you must create an account and provide accurate, complete information. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and for all activity under your account.
SYR Talents reserves the right to suspend or terminate any account at its sole discretion, especially in cases of abuse, fraud, or violation of these Terms.
4. Service Listings and Orders
Freelancers may list services (“Gigs”) and set their own pricing, delivery times, and terms. Buyers can browse and purchase services by submitting orders. All communications and transactions must remain on the platform.
We prohibit services that are illegal, misleading, harmful, or violate applicable laws in the U.S., EU, UAE, Saudi Arabia, Qatar, Egypt, or other jurisdictions where we operate.
5. Payments and Fees
All payments are processed securely through approved payment gateways. SYR Talents may deduct a service fee from each transaction. The applicable fee will be displayed prior to purchase or withdrawal.
Freelancers are responsible for paying any taxes or legal obligations in their country of residence.
6. Withdrawals
Freelancers may request withdrawal of their available earnings, subject to identity verification and payment gateway terms. SYR Talents is not liable for delays caused by banks, gateways, or user errors.
7. Disputes and Cancellations
Users are encouraged to resolve disputes through the platform’s messaging and resolution system. If a resolution cannot be reached, SYR Talents may intervene and issue a decision at its sole discretion.
We reserve the right to cancel orders, suspend accounts, or reverse payments where fraud, abuse, or policy violations are suspected.
8. Prohibited Conduct
You agree not to:
- Post or offer illegal services
- Share personal contact details to bypass the platform
- Violate any applicable law or regulation
- Infringe on intellectual property rights
- Use automated systems or bots without permission
- Post spam, fake reviews, or misleading content
Violation may result in account suspension or legal action.
9. Intellectual Property
Users retain rights to their original content. By using SYR Talents, you grant us a limited license to display and promote your content on our platform and marketing materials.
You may not copy, reproduce, or distribute content from other users without permission.
10. Privacy and Data Protection
We are committed to protecting your privacy. Please refer to our Privacy Policy for details on how your data is collected, used, and stored in compliance with international regulations such as GDPR and local Middle Eastern laws.
11. Limitation of Liability
SYR Talents is not liable for damages arising from service use, including lost profits, service failures, or unauthorized access. Our platform is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind.
12. Termination
You may close your account at any time. SYR Talents reserves the right to suspend or terminate access for any reason, with or without notice, especially for violations of these Terms.
13. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the United States, as well as applicable international and regional laws including the European Union, UAE, Saudi Arabia, Qatar, and Egypt.
Any legal disputes shall be resolved through the courts with jurisdiction over SYR Talents’ primary place of business.
14. Amendments
We may update these Terms periodically. Updates will be posted on our website and your continued use of the platform constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
